This candidate began at his current workplace (startup) as one of the first software developers. He was in this position for 4 years and then progressed into a lead position where he was still hands on but had some extra responsibilities around people management and hiring within the team.

He has used react since it was in beta and would consider himself an expert in the area. He has also used node.js for the past 6 years but is 70% front end and 30% back end in general as his design and creative background leads him to enjoy frontend more.
