What you'll do
- Prepare financial statements for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and SMSFs
- Prepare BAS & FBT Returns and ensure all compliance aligns with accounting standards
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strong and positive relationships
- Manage WIP and ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget
- Support and guide junior staff while overseeing workflow
- Provide Management Accounting reports, analysis and corporate advisory insights
- Reporting directly to the Managing Director, build client relationships and deliver high-quality technical advice
What we're looking for
- Bachelor Degree in a relevant field (Australia)
- CA or CPA qualified
- 3-5 years' experience in public practice accounting
- Strong autonomy, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines and oversee a team
- Effective communicator with solid client-relationship skills
- Xero experience essential
