Woods & Co. Recruitment is again partnering with a highly reputable, long-standing organisation within the commercial building sector. Known for delivering premium water system products and technical services across Victoria, this business is expanding its On-Road Service Team and is searching for a skilled Diesel Mechanic ready to take the next step in their career.

This is the perfect opportunity to step out of the workshop and into the field, working directly with clients on varied and interesting projects. What do you do?

  • Install, repair, maintain and test equipment in line with safety and national standards
  • Diagnose faults, identify solutions, and complete repairs efficiently
  • Conduct commissioning, warranty work, breakdown response and system testing
  • Deliver exceptional client service and maintain a professional approach on all sites
  • Understand customer requirements and provide informed recommendations
  • Maintain detailed job reporting and documentation in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with office and technical support teams

What you need

  • Qualified Diesel Mechanic (similar experience highly advantageous)
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and identify compliance issues
  • Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
  • A current, valid Australian driver’s licence
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Customer-focused with a strong solutions-driven mindset
  • Willingness to complete a National Police Check & Working With Children Check
