Woods & Co Recruitment are excited to partner with a high-energy, premium venue opening with a 600-person capacity. This venue features multiple bar experiences, including a main bar, VIP lounge and dynamic event spaces. Combining polished corporate hospitality with an exceptional guest experience, it’s set to become a standout destination.

We’re looking for a Temporary Bar Manager who thrives in fast-paced hospitality and loves leading a team to deliver consistent, professional and outstanding service. This role offers real growth potential, with the opportunity to step into a permanent leadership position. Key Points:

  • Temporary 1–2 month contract with potential for permanent placement.
  • 38 hours per week (Wed–Sun or Tue–Sat), including late finishes on weekends.
  • Lead a team of 12 bartenders across main and VIP bars.
  • Focus on operational leadership, compliance and maintaining standards.
  • Corporate hospitality experience is essential.
  • We value both solid bar skills and a proactive, collaborative approach to team leadership.

What do you do?

  • Oversee bar operations including ordering, RSA compliance, safety and standard enforcement.
  • Lead a team across main and VIP bars (up to 4–5 on peak shifts, plus 2 in VIP).
  • Collaborate with the FOH team for cross-training opportunities.
  • Maintain the high standards established by the venue’s SOPs and supplier agreements.

What do you need?

  • Proven experience in corporate hospitality.
  • Solid bar skills and a proactive, collaborative approach to team leadership.
  • Ability to operate within set procedures.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts including weekends and late nights.
