Project Coordinator

Woods & Co have partnered with a highly regarded residential builder known for delivering bespoke projects of exceptional quality and design. With a strong pipeline of work and a close knit, high performing team, they are now looking to bring on a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of complex, design driven builds.

This role is ideal for someone coming from a commercial or residential project coordination background looking to transition into high end residential new builds and low rise apartments, or a experienced carpenter ready to step off the tools and into a coordination role.

The Role

Working closely with the Construction Manager and Site Foreman, you'll play a key role in the end to end coordination of projects, ensuring program, quality, and budget outcomes are consistently achieved.

You'll be involved across:
  • Reviewing drawings and resolving buildability and design issues
  • Managing RFI's documentation, and consultant coordination
  • Supporting procurement and subcontractor engagement
  • Driving program outcomes and managing project timelines
  • Monitoring project costs, variations, and claims
  • Overseeing quality assurance and defect management processes
This is a hands on role where you will be deeply involved in the detail, working across both office and site.

What we are looking for
  • Experience in project coordination, site engineering, or contract administration (commercial or residential)
  • OR a carpentry background on high end residential sites with strong technical understanding and a desire to move into a office/site based role
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator who can work with consultants, clients and subcontractors
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues early and keep projects moving
