Woods & Co Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a highly regarded project and development management consultancy to appoint a Settlement Officer supporting the successful delivery of major residential and mixed-use developments across Melbourne.

Unlike traditional developer-side roles, this position sits within a consultancy environment; offering exposure across multiple clients and projects while playing a pivotal role in managing settlement readiness, purchaser coordination and stakeholder communication through to project completion.

The Role

You will act as a key liaison between developer clients, sales agents, legal teams, builders, financiers and purchasers to ensure a smooth settlement process across projects managed by the consultancy.

This role focuses on settlement coordination, contract administration support and customer journey management; ensuring projects transition seamlessly from construction completion through to handover.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate settlement readiness, documentation and timelines across multiple development projects
  • Act as primary contact for purchaser enquiries and settlement communications
  • Liaise with developer clients, legal representatives, builders, valuers, financiers and sales teams
  • Track settlement milestones, identify risks early and proactively manage outcomes
  • Maintain CRM systems, contract documentation and reporting accuracy
  • Support handover processes including inspections, defect coordination and move-in readiness
  • Provide regular reporting to project teams and developer clients

About You

  • Experience in settlements, contracts administration, customer experience or project coordination within property
  • Strong understanding of off-the-plan developments and settlement processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Calm, solutions-focused approach to managing purchaser expectations
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
