Recruitment has partnered with a leading Australian retail fit-out specialist delivering high-quality, design-driven retail environments for some of the country’s most recognisable brands. With a strong reputation for precision, innovation, and end-to-end project delivery, the business continues to grow across national markets.

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced cabinet maker to join their factory team. This is a hands-on role focused on the manufacture and assembly of high-quality joinery for retail fit-out projects, working closely with the production team to ensure all work is completed to the highest standard.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manufacturing and assembling custom joinery and cabinetry
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and cutting lists
  • Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools
  • Working with a variety of materials including laminates, MDF, and solid timber
  • Ensuring all work meets quality and finish standards
  • Collaborating with factory supervisors and production teams
  • Assisting with packing and preparation for site installation
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace

What we’re looking for

  • Trade qualified Cabinet Maker (preferred)
  • Proven experience in a factory-based cabinet making or joinery role
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience using woodworking machinery (panel saw, edge bander, CNC exposure highly regarded)
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
