Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a rapidly growing fintech, searching for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join their Melbourne team. This is a genuine opportunity to step into a broad, high-impact role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership and play a key part in scaling the finance function.
This is far from a traditional finance role. You’ll sit at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy—owning the numbers while helping shape the direction of a fast-moving business.

What you’ll do:
Own month end process, financial reporting and BAU activities
Partner with founders and senior stakeholders on strategic decision making
Build and refine financial models, forecasts and budgets
Drive process improvement and help scale systems through AI adoption
Support implementation and optimisation of finance systems and tools
Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting
What we’re looking for:
CA or CPA qualification
5 + years experience in finance or accounting roles
Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting or related
Strong management accounting and commercial finance skillset
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale up environment
Experience in fintech, financial services or high growth environments
