Job Description

Senior Acquistion Manager

  • Melbourne
  • Real Estate & Property

We’re partnering with a nationally recognised property investment and acquisitions business to appoint a Senior Acquisitions Manager into a newly created leadership role within their national Acquisitions division.

This is a rare opportunity for a commercially minded property operator to step into a high-impact role focused on securing residential investment stock, negotiating major builder and developer partnerships, and leading a growing acquisitions team nationally.

Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll play a key role in driving national growth across house & land, townhouse and residential investment opportunities throughout Australia.

The Opportunity

This role sits between executive leadership and the wider Acquisitions/Partnership Management team; combining leadership, commercial negotiation and strategic acquisitions.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Negotiating and executing high-value commercial partnerships and JV-style agreements
  • Managing and mentoring Acquisitions / Partnership Managers nationally
  • Securing investment-grade residential stock across key Australian growth corridors
  • Structuring allocation agreements, rebates, exclusivity arrangements and commercial terms
  • Building long-term builder and developer relationships
  • Acting as a key succession and continuity leader within the business

This is not a traditional acquisitions role focused purely on sourcing - this is a commercially driven leadership role for someone who knows how to get deals done.

Backed by longstanding builder and developer relationships, the business sources investment-grade opportunities nationally across:

  • House & land
  • Townhouses
  • Residential developments
  • Growth corridor investment opportunities

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years experience across acquisitions, development, project marketing, land or builder partnerships
  • Proven experience negotiating commercial agreements with developers/builders
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing teams and driving performance
  • Commercially minded with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid understanding of residential development and investment markets
  • Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in live deals

Why This Role

  • Newly created senior leadership role
  • Direct exposure to executive leadership
  • National scope across VIC, NSW, QLD and WA
  • Genuine succession planning and long-term growth opportunity
  • High-performing, entrepreneurial and fast-moving culture
  • Opportunity to shape the future of a growing acquisitions platform
