Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with a fast-growing fintech in search of their first dedicated Compliance & Regulatory Manager.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly influential role where you’ll build, shape and lead the compliance function from the ground up. Sitting at the intersection of governance, regulation and commercial growth, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the business scales confidently while maintaining best-practice compliance standards.

What you’ll do:
Own and manage AML/CTF program end to end
Ensure compliance frameworks align with ASIC, AFSL and AUSTRAC obligations
Provide compliance guidelines on new products, initiatives and business changes
Manage KYC/CCD/ECDD processes and third party vendor relationships
Support ASIC and AUSTRAC audits, reviews and regulatory notices
Drive a culture of proactive and commercially pragmatic compliance
What we’re looking for:
5 + year’s experience within compliance, AML/CTF or regulatory environments
Strong understanding of AML/CTF frameworks and AFSL obligations
Proven ability engaging with ASIC, AUSTRAC or external regulators
Strong stakeholder engagement
Background in fintech, financial services, consulting, legal or audit environments
