Tax & Advisory Manager

Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with an established and growing accounting firm based in Melbourne’s CBD is seeking an experienced Manager to join their team. This role will suit someone who enjoys a hands-on position, managing a portfolio of clients and working closely with accountants in a professional services environment.

What you’ll do:

• Manage a high-quality client portfolio with Partner support
• Act as a third-party CFO and adviser to SME clients
• Review and oversee financial statements, tax compliance and advisory work
• Build deep client relationships across Healthcare, Manufacturing and Construction
• Lead workflow, mentor team members and ensure delivery excellence

What we’re looking for:

• CA or CPA qualified with proven public practice experience at Manager level
• Strong advisory mindset with the confidence to challenge and guide clients
• Experience managing SME clients, ideally in Healthcare, Manufacturing or Construction
• Excellent communication skills and commercial acumen
• Someone ready to step into a key portfolio and take ownership
