What you'll do:
- Act as the Level 2 escalation point for technical support across Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows desktop and server environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, networking and system integration issues.
- Support and maintain hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to staff across the business.
- Take ownership of IT projects and technical initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timeframes.
- Liaise with external vendors, suppliers and technology partners to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with IT processes, information security standards and governance requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Level 1 IT Support staff.
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 4 years' of IT support experience.
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Solid knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Teams and collaboration technologies.
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune and endpoint management is highly regarded.
- Previous experience within financial services or another regulated industry is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Relevant IT qualification with Microsoft certifications (desirable).
