Are you an experienced Building Administrator or Contract Administrator with planning and infrastructure experience looking to join a well established custom home builder that's known for delivering quality homes across Geelong and the Surf Coast?

Woods & Co are partnering with a respected residential builder that has built an outstanding reputation for craftsmanship, exceptional customer service and delivering bespoke homes of the highest standard. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects and continued growth, they're looking to add an organised and proactive Contract Administrator to their close knit team. The Role

Working closely with the Construction and Estimating teams, you'll play a key role in the administration of custom residential projects from contract preparation through to construction handover. You'll be responsible for managing contracts, coordinating planning and infrastructure requirements, liaising with councils and service authorities, and ensuring every project is set up for success.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with residential building administration experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering a seamless client experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare HIA building contracts and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate planning permits and infrastructure approvals
  • Liaise with councils, service authorities and external consultants
  • Process variations and contract amendments
  • Coordinate permits, approvals and compliance documentation
  • Maintain accurate project files and construction documentation
  • Support the Construction and Estimating teams throughout project delivery
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, trades and internal stakeholders
  • Monitor project timelines and key milestones
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant and completed within required timeframes
About You
  • Previous experience in a Building Administrator, Contract Administrator or similar role within residential construction
  • Demonstrated planning and infrastructure experience within residential building
  • Experience working for a custom, architectural or volume home builder
  • Strong understanding of HIA contracts and compliance
  • Confident liaising with councils, service authorities and external consultants
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
