Accountant

  • 85,000 Per Year + Super

Woods & Co Recruitment are partnering with a growing hospitality group that owns and operates a portfolio of well-known venues across Melbourne. With continued expansion on the horizon, they're looking for a motivated Accountant to support the finance function and play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Assist with month-end and year-end reporting
  • Prepare BAS, IAS and other statutory obligations
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
  • Analyse financial performance and provide commercial insights
  • Monitor venue performance and profitability

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years' experience in an accounting role
  • CA/CPA qualified or currently studying
  • Hospitality, retail or multi-site industry experience highly regarded
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
