A well-established private property group is seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to lead the delivery of a growing portfolio of medium-density residential projects.
Working across the full development lifecycle, you will take ownership of projects from acquisition support and feasibility through planning, design, procurement, construction, and settlement. This opportunity would suit an experienced development professional with strong volume housing and medium-density experience who enjoys operating within an entrepreneurial and highly accountable environment.
The Role
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of medium-density residential projects.
- Manage project feasibility analysis, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial performance.
- Coordinate planning approvals, authority negotiations, and consultant teams.
- Oversee design development, ensuring programmes, budgets, and product outcomes are achieved.
- Manage builder procurement, contract administration, and construction delivery.
- Monitor project risk, programme, cost, quality, and compliance.
- Build and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide regular reporting to senior leadership across development performance and milestones.
About You
- 8+ years' experience in property development, project management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering volume housing, townhouse, or medium-density residential developments.
- Strong understanding of feasibility analysis, planning, construction, and delivery.
- Experience working with consultants, builders, and local authorities.
- Commercially astute, highly organised, and solutions-focused.
- Relevant qualifications in property, construction, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
