Woods & Co Recruitment is excited to partner with a growing automotive business in search for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong panel/smash repair or automotive industry experience who can combine operational leadership with a genuine commercial and business development mindset.
You’ll play a key role in managing the day-to-day workshop operations while actively driving new business, revenue and profitability.
What’s in it for you?
- $90,000 - $110,000 + Super + Commissions.
- Initial 6-month contract with a view to a longer-term arrangement.
- Take ownership of both business operations and growth.
- Build and leverage relationships across the insurance and automotive industries.
- Have a genuine impact on revenue, profitability and the future growth of the business.
What do you do?
- Identify and secure new business across insurers, assessors, fleet operators, dealerships and commercial partners.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and convert opportunities into long-term accounts.
- Develop strategies to increase revenue, workshop utilisation and profitability.
- Oversee day-to-day workshop operations including workflow, job allocation, quoting and turnaround times.
- Support and lead the workshop team to drive productivity and accountability.
- Monitor operational performance, job profitability, quality and customer satisfaction.
What do you need?
- Proven BDM or sales experience within the panel, smash repair or automotive industry.
- Strong existing industry relationships and a proven track record of winning new business.
- Understanding of insurance repair processes and workshop operations.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Leadership or management experience within an automotive environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable taking ownership.
