Woods & Co Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for an Operations Manager with an insurance business based in South Yarra. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and polished professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the operational side of a dynamic organisation.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and professionalism
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director on operational and strategic initiatives
  • Review and improve systems, processes and internal procedures
  • Monitor KPIs, productivity and quality standards
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training and staff development
  • Lead and motivate the team, conducting regular performance reviews
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Analyse financial data to identify profit improvement opportunities
  • Assist with budgets, forecasting and financial reporting
  • Oversee invoicing, debtor management and compliance

What you need:

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Business Manager, Practice Manager or similar role
  • Strong financial, commercial and business acumen
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • High attention to detail with process improvement capabilities
  • Experience managing, mentoring or developing a team
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a positive attitude
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Confidence working directly with senior leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Polished, professional presentation with an energetic, hands-on approach
