Woods & Co have partnered with a well-established Tier 3 commercial builder who are looking to add an experienced Contract Administrator to their team, working across a strong pipeline of custom new-build projects throughout Geelong.
This is an opportunity to join a builder known for delivering high-quality projects where no two builds are the same. With projects valued up to $20M, you’ll have genuine ownership of your packages and work closely with an experienced Project Management and site team.
The Role
As Contract Administrator, you’ll be responsible for the commercial and contractual management of your projects from procurement through to completion.
Responsibilities
- Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account
- Preparing, assessing and negotiating variations
- Processing progress claims and payment schedules
- Managing subcontractor and supplier contracts
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Procurement and tendering
- Managing project correspondence and contractual documentation
- Working closely with the Project Manager and site team to ensure commercial outcomes are achieved
- Supporting the successful delivery of custom projects up to $20M
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Proven Contract Administration experience with a commercial builder
- Experience delivering custom new-build commercial projects
- A strong understanding of commercial construction contracts and processes
- Experience managing subcontractor packages, variations, progress claims and procurement
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- The ability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative project team
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
