AP/AR Officer

Woods & Co is partnering with a well established scaffolding business that is looking to add an experienced Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team.

This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys having ownership of their work and being across the day to day financial operations of the business. You'll be working closely with the wider team and will have a key role in keeping accounts, invoicing and payments running smoothly.

The Role

You'll be responsible for a mix of accounts payable, accounts receivable and general finance administration, including:
  • Managing day to day AP and AR
  • Processing and reconciling invoices
  • Raising customer invoices and following up outstanding payments
  • Completing volume invoicing
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Allocating payments and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting with job costing and project related invoicing
  • Managing purchase orders and matching invoices
  • Reconciliations and general ledger administration
  • Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal teams

About You

We're looking for someone with previous experience in both Accounts Payable and Receivables ideally within the construction or trades based industry's.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience across both AP and AR
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation
  • Experience with Xero
  • Good Excel and general systems skills
  • The ability manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • A proactive, hands on approach
  • The confidence to work autonomously while being part of a close knit team
Construction experience would be highly regarded, but isn't essential for the right person.
