Woods & Co is partnering with an established residential builder to find an experienced
Site Manager to join their team across the Geelong region.
This is an opportunity to join a well established local builder delivering a diverse range of residential projects, from traditional new builds through to custom designed homes, coastal properties and more complex split level builds. With projects spanning Geelong, the Bellarine and Surf Coast, the role would suit someone who understands the residential building process inside out and takes pride in delivering quality homes from site start through to handover.
You'll be responsible for managing sites end to end, coordinating trades, maintaining construction programmes and ensuring each build is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. We're looking for someone who is organised, hands on and confident taking ownership of their sites, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
The Role - Manage residential builds from site establishment through to completion and handover
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades and suppliers to maintain construction schedules
- Oversee site safety, quality control and compliance with relevant building standards
- Monitor build progress and proactively address delays, site issues and variations
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets the required standard
- Manage defects and ensure a smooth handover process
- Coordinate materials, site access and trade sequencing to keep builds progressing
About You - 3+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager within residential construction
- Experience working across custom new builds
- Strong understanding resi construction methods, sequencing and trade coordination
- Confident managing subcontractors and holding trades accountable for program and quality
- Good knowledge of site safety, compliance and quality assurance
- Trade background or relevant building qualifications
Experience across custom homes, sloping blocks or split level construction would be advantageous.
