Woods & Co have partnered with a thriving Australian manufacturer to find a capable and driven
Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site operations. This hands-on leadership role spans both production and warehouse functions and is perfect for someone with a strong manufacturing background who enjoys working on the floor and leading by example.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you’ll coordinate a busy production environment, focused primarily on pillow and quilt lines—while also supervising a warehouse team managing goods receiving, inventory, and despatch.
You’ll be the go-to person for on-the-spot decision making, labour allocation, and ensuring workflow continuity from raw materials to finished product.

What do you do? - Oversee daily operations across production and warehouse teams
- Lead and motivate factory floor staff to hit output, quality, and efficiency targets
- Plan and allocate labour across departments based on daily needs
- Troubleshoot production issues, equipment breakdowns, or material delays
- Maintain open communication between production, warehouse, and admin teams
- Ensure compliance with OH&S, site procedures, and quality control standards
- Support and coach team members to build capability and engagement
- Monitor key performance indicators and report daily to the Operations Manager
What do you need? - 3+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role within manufacturing
- Prior exposure to warehousing operations and labour planning
- Hands-on, pragmatic leader who enjoys being on the factory floor
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and foster an inclusive, high-performing culture
- Basic computer literacy; experience with ERP/WMS (Pronto Xi highly regarded)
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
