Accounts Officer

Head Office | Finance Team

Are you a detail-driven Accounts Officer who loves keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing, fast-paced organisation where your work genuinely matters.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and financial administration, with exposure to multiple entities and real scope to grow your skills.

What you’ll be doing

  • Owning end-to-end Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, EFT payments and reconciliations

  • Supporting Accounts Receivable, from debtor setup to cash receipts and follow-ups

  • Managing credit cards, petty cash, bank reconciliations and monthly journals

  • Maintaining supplier, subcontractor and client records, including insurances and guarantees

  • Assisting with payroll administration and new employee onboarding

  • Supporting month-end close and meeting critical finance deadlines

  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for internal and external finance queries

What we’re looking for

  • 1–2 years’ experience in accounts or finance administration (construction industry exposure highly regarded)

  • Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

  • Confident using Excel, Word and Outlook (ERP exposure a bonus, not essential)

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

  • A team player who’s keen to learn, contribute and grow with the business

Why you’ll love it here

  • Broad role with real ownership and variety: no two days the same

  • Supportive finance leadership and a collaborative head office team

  • Exposure to multiple entities and systems

  • A stable, long-term opportunity with room to develop your career

If you’re organised, proactive and ready to take the next step in your finance career, we’d love to hear from you.
