Business Development Manager to lead growth in the Australian market.
This is a unique opportunity for a senior sales professional with a strong transport and freight background to make a tangible impact. You’ll have the autonomy to develop your market, leverage your network, and secure high-value accounts while working with a leadership team that values commercial insight and initiative.
The role offers scope to influence strategy, develop local and national client relationships, and contribute directly to the company’s next stage of growth.

What You’ll Do:
- Drive new business development across transport, freight forwarding, and warehousing in Victoria
- Identify key opportunities, build strategic client relationships, and develop tailored logistics solutions
- Lead commercial discussions, prepare proposals, and close deals that deliver long-term value
- Maintain accurate pipeline and performance reporting
- Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless execution of client commitments
- Represent the company in the Melbourne market, building brand presence and trust
What You Need:
- 3+ years in sales or business development within transport, freight forwarding, or logistics
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international freight operations, customs, and trade
- CargoWise experience is highly regarded
- Proficiency with MS Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build trust, influence decision-makers, and close complex deals
