Woods & Co have partnered with a rapidly expanding, Australian-owned logistics provider that is transforming its footprint with a brand-new state-of-the-art depot in Brisbane. With new leadership and ambitious growth plans, the business is strengthening its domestic transport, international freight forwarding, and 3PL warehousing capabilities

This role is designed for a Business Development Manager within transport and logistics who wants ownership of a market and the freedom to build revenue from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for creating opportunity, converting prospects into long-term customers, and establishing a strong commercial footprint in your state.

What you'll do:

• Build a strong pipeline of new clients across transport, freight forwarding, and warehousing
• Identify white-space opportunities and convert them into profitable logistics solutions
• Own the full sales lifecycle, from market entry through to contract execution
• Position integrated domestic and international services to mid-market and enterprise customers
• Partner with operations to deliver scalable, commercially sound solutions
• Act as a key growth driver and market representative for the business in your region

What you need?

• Background in transport, freight forwarding, or logistics is essential, only candidates from this sector will be considered
• Proven experience winning new business and opening new accounts
• Strong knowledge of domestic transport networks and international freight operations
• Commercially confident, target-driven, and comfortable selling complex solutions
• CargoWise experience highly regarded
• CRM-savvy with strong pipeline discipline
