Woods & Co Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join a leading Australian retail group, home to iconic lifestyle, apparel, and homeware brands.

Join a dynamic, high-performing team in Chermside, delivering exceptional customer experiences in one of the group’s busiest stores specialising in intimates, loungewear, and everyday essentials.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and motivate your team to deliver exceptional service and achieve sales targets
• Drive performance through hands-on leadership, coaching, and consistent feedback
• Maintain high store presentation and visual merchandising standards
• Manage large stock volumes and ensure operational efficiency
• Analyse sales data to identify trends and make informed commercial decisions
• Create a positive and proactive team environment through strong communication and example-led leadership

What we’re looking for:

• Demonstrated experience in retail management or leadership, ideally within high-volume, fast-paced stores
• Solid understanding of stock control, merchandising, and driving sales performance
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members to reach their full potential
• Excellent communication, organisation, and people management skills
• Confident, adaptable, and results-driven, with a hands-on approach to achieving targets
• Previous experience in fashion, lifestyle, intimates, or hospitality retail is highly regarded
