We are looking for an experienced Armed Security Officer to take charge of night operations. You will be the key decision-maker on shift, patrolling buildings, monitoring CCTV, responding to incidents and ensuring the safety and security of residents at all times. This site has faced incidents in the past, so vigilance, calmness and strong judgment are essential.

What do you do?

• Patrol 3 residential buildings and shared luxury facilities
• Monitor CCTV, access control systems and safety alerts
• Respond to incidents promptly and professionally
• Remove intoxicated, aggressive or non-compliant individuals
• Assist residents with basic after-hours enquiries
• Maintain detailed logs, incident notes and handovers
• Uphold building rules and ensure the site remains secure overnight
• Communicate clearly with day and afternoon teams

What do you need?

• Valid Victorian Armed Security Licence
• Minimum 2 years security experience, ideally in hotel or guest-focused environments
• Strong conflict resolution & de-escalation skills
• Excellent communication and presentation
• Ability to work independently and make fast decisions under pressure
• Reliability, punctuality and high ethical standards
• IT confidence with CCTV, access systems and reporting software
