The Role

As a Production Draftsperson, you’ll be responsible for preparing and updating working drawings, adhering to building codes, developer guidelines, engineering requirements and company standards. You’ll play a key role in supporting production, construction, and client variations through accurate and timely documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality working drawings for single and double-storey homes

• Amend drawings in line with client variations, engineering, energy ratings and building regulations

• Liaise with internal departments to ensure all documentation reflects updated specifications

• Review plans for compliance with NCC, ResCode, local council and developer requirements

• Maintain consistency and accuracy across all drawing sets

• Support the drafting team with continuous improvement and documentation updates

About You

• Experience as a Draftsperson within a volume residential builder

• Strong competency in Revit or similar software

• Solid understanding of the NCC, ResCode and Victorian building regulations

• High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
