Woods & Co. recruitment has partnered with a growing Melbourne-based company that designs and builds custom installations for the hospitality and events industry. From pubs and clubs to restaurants and brand activations, their products bring creativity and functionality together, all manufactured right here in their local workshop.

We are looking for a skilled Trades Assistant to join there growing team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, supporting a skilled team, and contributing to high-quality builds and assemblies in a fast-paced, creative environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting skilled tradespeople with builds and construction tasks
• Performing basic labour tasks such as painting and light assembly work
• Using the company work van to pick up and transport materials
• Packing and unpacking items for freight or transport
• Assembling or piecing together light-boxes and other display/build components
• Providing general support across workshop and site projects as required

What we’re looking for

• Some labouring experience, ideally with exposure to skilled trades
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Physically fit and comfortable with lifting and manual tasks
• Driver’s licence required
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
• Full Australian working rights
