Step into the heart of one of Melbourne’s most iconic event spaces. As a Casual Venue Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing live event operations, acting as the primary point of contact on event days and ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
With over 6,000 sqm of flexible indoor and outdoor event space, this role requires a strong operational mindset, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in real time. You’ll work closely with event managers, bar supervisors, security and external suppliers to deliver outstanding experiences for clients and guests alike.

What do you do?
Act as the senior on-site manager during events.
Oversee event setup, delivery and pack-down.
Lead and coordinate front-of-house, bar and operations teams.
Liaise with clients, suppliers and contractors on event days.
Ensure compliance with safety, licensing and venue procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
What do you need?
5+ years experience in events, hospitality or venue management.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Calm, organised and solutions-focused under pressure.
Availability to work evenings, weekends and peak event periods.
