Job Description

Woods & Co Recruitment is partnering with a growing technology business to recruit a Research & Development Engineer to support the testing, development and rollout of hardware and software products. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with hardware and contributing to product development end to end.

What do you do?

• Configure, test and enhance hardware and software products

• Perform QA testing to identify and eliminate defects and bugs

• Work hands-on with hardware components, including installation and configuration

• Analyse hardware and communication logs to troubleshoot issues

• Create and execute test scripts for new and existing products

• Support product rollouts and ongoing system improvements

• Work closely with R&D, Operations and senior stakeholders

What do you need?

• Experience in hardware and software testing or QA environments

• Strong hands-on experience working with hardware components

• Proven ability to analyse logs and diagnose technical issues

• Logical problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail

• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams

• Experience across Windows and/or Linux-based operating systems

• Relevant tertiary qualification or practical industry experience
