Woods & Co. Recruitment has partnered with a well-established, Australian-owned manufacturing business. We are looking for an experienced Technical Detailer to join their team, producing CAD documentation and supporting the manufacture and installation of custom and volume projects across Victoria and other states.

This is a hands-on, technical role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with installers and builders, and delivering projects efficiently and to a high standard.

What you’ll be doing

• Producing detailed CAD drawings, manufacturing specifications, cutting lists, and technical documentation
• Measuring jobs and preparing associated documentation
• Programming custom and volume projects for manufacture and installation
• Liaising with builders, supervisors, and installers to resolve onsite issues
• Collaborating with the Sales team on ordering and specification queries
• Ordering specialist products and ensuring timely delivery
• Maintaining quality, WHS standards, and compliance throughout projects

What we’re looking for

• Experience detailing staircases and balustrades (essential)
• Proficiency in drafting software, particularly AutoCAD (essential)
• Measurement experience (advantageous)
• Familiarity with project management tools such as ASANA (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with internal teams, builders, and installers
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and keen to improve processes
• Full Australian working rights
