Woods & Co Recruitment are seeking a motivated and analytically minded Development Analyst to join a growing residential development business. This role will suit someone early in their property career who is eager to gain hands-on exposure to land acquisition, feasibility analysis and development strategy across residential and medium density projects.
Working closely with the Development & Acquisitions Manager, you will support investment decisions through research, financial modelling and market analysis, while gaining broad exposure to the front-end of the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with land acquisition activities, including due diligence, research and feasibility assessments
- Prepare and maintain development appraisals, financial models and sensitivity analysis
- Analyse residential market activity, trends, pricing and comparable sales data
- Support preparation of project briefs, internal reports and investment summaries
- Assist with coordination of planning inputs, consultant information and approval pathways for development assessments
- Liaise with external stakeholders including agents, surveyors, valuers and consultants
- Attend internal and external meetings as required
- Prepare presentations and briefing materials for senior management
About You
- Degree qualified (or near completion) in Property Economics, Property Development, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
- Strong analytical capability with experience or exposure to feasibility analysis, financial modelling or market research
- High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (Argus or similar software advantageous)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, organised and collaborative with a strong work ethic
- Genuinely passionate about property and development
