Woods & Co have partnered with a fast-growing FMCG and agricultural production start-up entering a critical scale-up phase. This is a senior and hands-on role for a commercially driven leader who thrives in high-growth environments and wants real influence over how a business expands.
We are seeking a Commercial Manager to work closely with the founder, you’ll balance high-level sales strategy with on-the-ground execution, owning key customer relationships, driving revenue, and building the sales foundations needed to scale nationally.
This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, moves fast, and wants to help shape the commercial engine of an FMCG business from the inside.

What you’ll do: - Own and grow a portfolio of strategic key accounts, handle the full acquisition cycle from outreach to close.
- Develop and execute sales and account growth strategies
- Identify new market opportunities and expansion channels
- Build long-term partnerships with major customers, champion these relationships and support key business events
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain to support scale
- Monitor sales performance, manage pipelines and track performance
- Establish scalable sales processes, pricing, and frameworks
- Collaborate with Director and key suppliers to contribute to future sales team build and capability
What you need: - Proven experience in senior sales or key account leadership roles
- Background in FMCG, food, or agricultural sectors (required)
- Strong strategic mindset with hands-on commercial execution
- Ability to manage major accounts while driving new business
- Comfortable operating in a founder-led or scale-up environment
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
