With a strong pipeline of maintenance, refurbishment, and installation projects, this company is known for operational excellence, technical expertise, and a culture that values leadership, accountability, and team development.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to join their team. This is a full-time leadership role with ownership of the service department, offering direct impact on operations, team performance, and client satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading the service team, including technicians and apprentices, and mentoring for performance improvement
• Managing day-to-day service operations, workflow, and scheduling
• Preparing and issuing service quotations and ensuring works are delivered on time and on budget
• Maintaining client relationships and managing enquiries to resolution
• Overseeing preventive maintenance, reactive service, and long-term maintenance contracts
• Coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure efficient operations
• Ensuring compliance with OH&S, statutory, and environmental requirements
• Reporting on service performance, budgets, and key KPIs to Directors
• Driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence within the service department

What we’re looking for

• Proven leadership experience in the HVAC or related services industry
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets, contracts, and supplier relationships
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of stakeholders
• Confident decision-maker, highly organised, and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems (chillers, VRF systems, package units, controls, ventilation)
• Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
• Current driver’s licence with a clean record
• Commitment to fostering a safe, accountable, and collaborative team environment
