Woods & Co Recruitment are partnering with a fast-growing and innovative business in South Melbourne, to recruit a Senior Accountant. This is a hands-on, high-impact role offering exposure to end-to-end accounting, reporting, and strategic financial projects.

What you’ll do:

● Manage end-to-end accounting processes including reconciliations, ledger management, and month-end close
● Prepare accurate financial reporting and compliance documentation
● Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
● Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements
● Support ad hoc financial projects and analysis to drive business decisions
● Ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the finance function

What we’re looking for:

● CPA/CA qualified or equivalent
● Proven experience in a senior accounting role, ideally within SME or corporate environments
● Strong technical accounting skills including reporting, compliance, and reconciliations
● Hands-on experience with accounting systems and ERP platforms
● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
