Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Plumber / Gas-fitter to join their team. This is a hands-on senior role suited to someone who enjoys working autonomously and managing jobs end-to-end, from diagnosis and quoting through to completion and client communication, while also mentoring apprentices and maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism.

What you’ll be doing

• Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of plumbing issues across commercial and residential sites
• Installation, servicing and maintenance of water systems, fixtures, drainage, hot water units and gas appliances
• Clearing and investigating blocked drains and drainage faults
• Managing jobs end-to-end including diagnosis, quoting, execution, reporting and completion
• Delivering preventative maintenance across commercial buildings and facilities
• Liaising with building managers, facility managers, strata and clients
• Investigating complex plumbing issues including leaks and system faults
• Preparing clear reports and accurate quotations for required works
• Maintaining job notes, photos and documentation for operational and invoicing purposes
• Mentoring apprentices and supporting junior team members on-site
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with regulations and standards

What we’re looking for

• Licensed Plumber with 8+ years industry experience
• Current Victorian plumbing registration/licence
• Strong maintenance plumbing experience, ideally across commercial environments
• Gas-fitting experience and knowledge of compliance requirements
• Proven ability to manage jobs end-to-end, including quoting and reporting
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Experience working in commercial buildings, plant rooms, and complex systems (highly regarded)
• Experience mentoring apprentices or junior plumbers (highly regarded)
• Current driver’s licence
