Woods & Co Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established and growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) to appoint an experienced Infrastructure Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly technical environment delivering modern infrastructure and cloud solutions to a diverse client base.

Our client specialises in supporting and transforming IT environments across multiple organisations, focusing on Microsoft technologies, cloud adoption, and secure infrastructure design. Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, they are looking to strengthen their technical team with an engineer who enjoys working across a broad technology stack and delivering impactful solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Design and implement infrastructure solutions across multiple client environments

• Deliver end-to-end infrastructure and cloud projects from planning through to completion

• Deploy and manage Microsoft 365 environments

• Implement and support Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud solutions

• Perform server deployments, upgrades, and infrastructure migrations

• Configure firewalls, VPNs, and networking infrastructure

• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices

• Provide escalation support for complex infrastructure issues

• Maintain accurate technical documentation across client environments

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery

What we’re looking for:

• 2–3+ years experience working within a MSP

• 5+ years overall experience in infrastructure, systems engineering, or IT operations

• Experience supporting and managing multiple client environments

• Strong experience delivering infrastructure or cloud projects

• Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP

• Experience with Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Intune

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure infrastructure

• Virtualisation experience with VMware or Hyper-V

• Networking experience including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and switching

• Experience implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions

• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and client communication skills
