Woods & Co have partnered with a growing Australian-owned logistics provider that is now operating under new management and making serious moves across the transport and supply chain sector. Built on a foundation of integrity, reliability, and long-standing customer relationships, this family-owned business is expanding its national operations and looking for someone ready to make an impact.

As part of this growth, they are now seeking an experienced PM Fleet Controller to join their Erskine Park operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a fast-paced, high-impact role where you will be trusted to keep freight moving, support drivers on the road, and ensure operations run like clockwork across Sydney metro and regional routes.

What you’ll be doing?

• Coordinating fleet scheduling and utilisation to maximise efficiency and profitability
• Monitoring driver and delivery KPIs including delivery windows and service levels
• Building strong relationships with customers, drivers, and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring drivers understand customer site requirements and delivery expectations
• Working closely with the operations team to avoid scheduling conflicts and service delays
• Monitoring scanning systems and GPS tracking for vehicles on the road
• Ensuring fleet servicing and maintenance schedules are kept up to date
• Managing and following up on driver-related issues, compliance, and performance

What you need?

• 3-4+ years’ experience in transport or logistics operations
• Proven ability to coordinate teams and manage drivers in a busy environment
• Strong knowledge of fatigue management, load restraint, and mass compliance
• Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with drivers, customers, and management
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt in a fast-moving operations environment
• A strong work ethic and a mindset focused on continuous improvement
