The Role

Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Draftsperson to join the team. This role will see you working closely with estimating, pre-construction, and site teams, with a strong emphasis on ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and ready for construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and production of working drawings for residential builds
• Thorough checking and review of plans to ensure accuracy and buildability
• Ensuring all drawings comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and developer guidelines
• Liaising with internal teams including estimating, building coordinators, and construction staff
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies prior to site commencement
• Managing amendments and maintaining up to date documentation throughout the process
• Working within set timeframes to meet construction deadlines

About You

• Proven experience as a Production Draftsperson within the residential building industry
• Strong understanding of Victorian building regulations and compliance requirements
• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to checking and problem solving
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
