The RoleDue to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Draftsperson to join the team. This role will see you working closely with estimating, pre-construction, and site teams, with a strong emphasis on ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and ready for construction.
Key Responsibilities - Preparation and production of working drawings for residential builds
- Thorough checking and review of plans to ensure accuracy and buildability
- Ensuring all drawings comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and developer guidelines
- Liaising with internal teams including estimating, building coordinators, and construction staff
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies prior to site commencement
- Managing amendments and maintaining up to date documentation throughout the process
- Working within set timeframes to meet construction deadlines
About You - Proven experience as a Production Draftsperson within the residential building industry
- Strong understanding of Victorian building regulations and compliance requirements
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach to checking and problem solving
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
