Woods & Co Recruitment are looking for a motivated, experienced, and commercially savvy Assistant Store Manager to join a high-performing flagship retail store, located in Chadstone. 

This premium home and lifestyle brand is known for its luxurious bedding, bath, and homewares, beautiful designs, and focus on exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll work alongside the Store Manager to lead a passionate team, drive sales, and deliver a standout in-store experience, while developing your leadership skills for the next step in your retail career.

What do you do?

• Assist the Store Manager in all areas of store operations
• Drive sales & achieve KPIs through exceptional service and team coaching
• Manage rosters, budgets, and daily store performance
• Lead by example on the shop floor — motivating and developing your team
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are executed flawlessly
• Handle stock management, loss prevention, and store administration
• Step up as Acting Store Manager when required

What do you need?

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership role within retail 
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and people management skills
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to inspire a team
