Woods & Co Recruitment are excited to partner up with one of Melbourne’s most anticipated new rooftop destinations in search for an experienced Bar Manager. Fusing Eastern Mediterranean flavours with a vibrant atmosphere, this venue promises an elevated, high-energy rooftop dining experience.

This is a rare opportunity for a Bar Manager to take the lead in crafting the beverage program, shaping the drinks offering and delivering memorable guest experiences from the first pour to the final farewell. This is an exciting chance for you to influence the venue and set the standards from its very first service.

What do you do?

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar to ensure smooth and memorable guest experience.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing bar team. 
• Curate innovative and exciting beverage programs. 
• Manage supplier relationships, stock and cost controls. 
• Maintain compliance with RSA, licensing and health and safety standards. 
• Awareness of market trends to drive revenue and profitability. 

What do you need?

• 3+ years experience in premium and high-volume bars. 
• Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, spirits and emerging trends.
• Hands-on, creative and guest-focused approach.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and thrives in a fast-paced environment. 
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, mentor and inspire a high-performing team. 
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and events as needed.
