We are seeking an experienced Development Manager or Senior Development Manager to join a leading private developer delivering some of Sydney’s most innovative and design-focused residential projects. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of developments across the full lifecycle; design development through to planning, approvals, and delivery.
The Opportunity
You’ll be working across a pipeline of residential projects that combine strong design outcomes with community-led thinking. As part of a high-performing team, you’ll lead projects from feasibility through to handover, collaborating with architects, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality homes that stand out in the Sydney market.
Key Responsibilities - Manage the end-to-end development process for residential projects, including feasibilities, design, planning, and delivery.
- Drive design development, ensuring outcomes reflect both commercial viability and architectural excellence.
- Coordinate and administer consultants, fostering collaboration and accountability to meet project objectives.
- Lead planning submissions and approvals, building strong relationships with local authorities.
- Oversee the delivery phase, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to a premium standard.
- Provide regular reporting, feasibilities, and updates to senior leadership.
About You - Proven track record in residential property development within a Development Manager or Senior Development Manager role.
- Hands-on experience in design development, consultant management, planning, and delivery.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to run feasibilities and assess risks.
- Skilled in stakeholder management with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Degree qualified in Property, Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
