Woods & Co have teamed up with one of Melbourne’s most talked about venues. This multi level CBD hotspot is known for its modern Asian fusion dishes, creative cocktails and late night energy. We’re on the lookout for a Head Chef who’s ready to take charge of a talented kitchen team and bring some fresh flavour to the menu.
You’ll be the kind of chef who thrives in a busy kitchen, loves leading a team, and has a strong eye for detail. You’ll oversee the day to day kitchen operations, keep standards high, and bring creativity to every service.
What’s in it for you - $90,000 - $100,000 + Super (depending on experience).

What You’ll Be Doing - Run the kitchen from prep through to service.
- Lead and develop your team to deliver outstanding food.
- Manage ordering, COGs, and labour costs.
- Keep standards high across presentation and consistency.
- Work with management on new dishes and seasonal changes.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen that meets all food safety standards.
What We’re Looking For - Minimum 4 years as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous ready for the next step.
- Experience in fast paced, quality venues.
- Passion for Asian fusion cuisine and creative cooking.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good understanding of financials and kitchen operations.
- Calm, organised, and great under pressure.
- Full working rights in Australia and flexibility across a 7 day roster.
