Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a boutique bookkeeping firm that exclusively services law firms across Melbourne. This is a rare opportunity for a confident and detail-oriented
Bookkeeper to join a team that understands the intricacies of legal bookkeeping—particularly when it comes to
trust account compliance and management.
You'll manage a portfolio of law firm clients, handling end-to-end bookkeeping and working hands-on with legal trust accounting systems including
LEAP, Smokeball, Clio, and Actionstep.
What’s in it for you? - $80,000–$100,000 + Super (depending on experience)

What do you do? - Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for law firm clients
- Perform trust account reconciliation and compliance reporting
- BAS, IAS and payroll preparation and lodgement
- Client engagement and regular reporting
- Work across platforms including LEAP, Smokeball, Clio, Actionstep, and Xero
What do you need? - Minimum 3 years bookkeeping or similar experience
- Experience with legal clients highly regarded
- Hands-on knowledge of trust accounting software: LEAP, Smokeball, Clio, Actionstep
- Strong working knowledge of Xero
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines across multiple clients
