Job Description

Management Accountant

We’re seeking a driven Management Accountant to join a high-performing finance team within a leading property group. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on accuracy, analysis, and providing valuable insights that help drive commercial decisions.

What you’ll be doing
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and reports, delivering insights that support leadership decisions
  • Manage GL control, month-end and year-end processes, journals, and compliance with accounting standards
  • Assist with budgets, forecasts, consolidated reporting, and corporate income tax preparation
  • Partner with stakeholders including directors, analysts, financiers, and external accountants to support business outcomes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements across finance and reporting
What we’re looking for
  • Relevant tertiary qualification + CPA/CA (completed or working towards)
  • 5+ years’ accounting experience, ideally in property, construction, or corporate services
  • Strong technical skills across reconciliations, management reporting, and variance analysis
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to juggle competing deadlines
  • High attention to detail, excellent Excel/financial modelling skills, and strong communication
  • Experience with Business Central, MYOB, or Xero highly regarded
