Woods and Co Recruitment is excited to be partnering with one of Melbourne’s newest family entertainment venues to find an enthusiastic and caring Venue Manager to join their team. This sensory based, construction themed indoor play space allows children to explore, create, and learn through play. With interactive sandboxes, diggers, construction role-play zones, and hands-on sensory experiences, the centre provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children, alongside a family-focused café.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team during the day with no late nights, thrives in a lively environment, and loves creating memorable experiences for families. What’s in it for you?

• Consistent weekend and school holiday shifts required
• $70,000 - $75,000 + Super

What do you do?
• Greet families with warmth and ensure a welcoming experience
• Lead, coach, and inspire the team across play, café, and reception
• Assist with setup, cleaning, and resetting of play areas, including construction-themed sandbox zones
• Host birthday parties and group bookings with energy and enthusiasm
• Follow health, hygiene, and safety guidelines at all times
• Oversee rostering, budgets, labour costs, and venue performance
• Drive staff training, growth, and career development
• Be visible and present on the floor, especially during weekends, holidays, and peak times
• Contribute to the overall positive and team-focused culture of the venue
What do you need?
• A valid Working With Children Check is essential or willingness to acquire
• Passion for working with children and creating memorable play experiences
• Friendly, energetic, and approachable with strong communication skills
• Reliable, responsible, and safety-focused
• Team player happy to roll up sleeves and help wherever needed
• Operationally savvy with experience in rostering, budgets, guest flow, and compliance
• Previous experience in childcare, early education, playcentres, or hospitality is a bonus
• Ideally located near the Braeside area
