Woods & Co Recruitment have partnered with a dynamic construction company based in Richmond, dedicated to delivering high-quality projects.

They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.

What you do:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Liaise with external accountants and auditors.
• Handle GST and BAS preparation and lodgement.
• Manage petty cash and employee expense reimbursements.
• Perform general administrative tasks as required.

What you need:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
