They are seeking a hands-on, passionate and commercially-minded Area Manager to oversee 8 stores across the Newcastle and Central Coast region.
You’ll spend most of your time in-store with your teams, coaching and leading Store Managers to exceed KPIs and budgets, with one office/home based day per week to focus on reporting, admin, and planning.

This is a fixed-term position until August 2026

What do you do?

• Lead and support a team of Store Managers across multiple locations
• Drive commercial performance and hit KPIs, budgets and profitability targets
• Spend time on the shop floor coaching, motivating and role modelling great leadership
• Review and analyse performance reports to make data-led decisions
• Deliver high standards of visual merchandising and stock management
• Use one day per week to manage admin and planning tasks

 
What do you need:

• Proven experience in a similar multi-site retail leadership role
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to influence store performance
• A people-first leadership style that encourages growth and accountability
• Excellent time management, with the ability to juggle priorities across multiple sites
• Confidence in giving feedback, coaching teams and managing change
• A passion for retail and a hands-on approach to leadership
