Assistant Restaurant Manager (Drive-Thru)

Woods & Co Recruitment is working with one of Australia’s most established names in fast-casual dining, a brand built on fresh, healthy food, sustainability and community connection. They’re now opening the doors to an exciting new drive-thru concept in Melbourne’s inner west. This is a high-output, dual-kitchen site that needs an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to help bring it to life. In this role, you’ll:
  • Lead and inspire your team, creating a positive, high-energy environment that keeps everyone engaged.
  • Oversee daily operations including rostering, recruitment, stock management and compliance, supported by your Area Manager.
  • Coach and develop your team with regular feedback, performance reviews and tailored development plans.
  • Manage key financials including profit and loss, budgets and KPIs to ensure the smooth running of the restaurant.
  • Champion the brand's community initiatives, leading programs that support local causes and foster strong local connections.
  • Work closely with your Assistant Restaurant Managers to ensure smooth operations and team success.
What we’re looking for:
  • 2+ years experience in QSR and drive-thru operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team.
  • A knack for maintaining speed, efficiency and quality - even during peak times.
  • A passion for building a strong team culture and delivering top-tier customer service.
  • Full working rights in Australia and the ability to pass a National Police Check.
