Woods & Co are working with a leading payment solutions company offering innovative cash-handling and payment technology solutions, to bring a Business Development Manager onto their dynamic Sydney team. This is a relationship-focused role, suited to someone confident, outgoing, and comfortable working with clients across pubs, clubs, RSLs, and gaming venues.
You’ll inherit a warm client base (80+ accounts) and will be supported to strategically grow your territory. This is not your average “hard-sell” BDM role - it’s about partnerships, strong client rapport, and understanding how venues use tech to better serve patrons and improve operations.
What’s in it for you? - $80,000–$100,000 + Super + Car Allowance + Comms (OTE $150k+)
- Office in Parramatta - WFH flexibility encouraged (office roughly 1 day a week)
- All equipment provided
- Join a supportive, high-performing national team
- Inherit a set list of warm accounts and build your own
- Enjoy a social, flexible working environment with strong internal collaboration
- Regular industry events, sports luncheons, and trade shows
What You’ll Be Doing - Manage and grow a list of ~80 warm hospitality clients (pubs/clubs/RSLs)
- Proactively win new business (approx. 70% existing/30% new split)
- Build deep, long-term partnerships – not one-off transactional sales
- Be out on the road, building face-to-face relationships
- Keep ATMs and systems running across key client venues
- Attend client events, expos, and industry networking opportunities
- Collaborate with a friendly and experienced national sales team
- Use Salesforce daily to manage pipeline, activity, and client updates
What You’ll Need - 1-3+ years’ experience in sales, business development or account management
- Background in hospitality, gaming, payments, or a tech product used in venues is ideal
- Confident, outgoing personality – this is a relationship-first sales role
- A commercial mindset with strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Organised, tech-savvy and on top of your CRM admin (Salesforce experience highly regarded)
- A self-starter who’s adaptable on their feet and loves building connections
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout metro and greater NSW
- No issues working in a social environment involving alcohol, pubs, and clubs
This is a people-focused role in a fun and fast-moving sector. You’ll be well-supported by leadership and surrounded by like-minded, down-to-earth teammates across NSW and the national network. If you’ve got the energy, drive, and relationship-building skills - and enjoy the idea of helping clients run better venues - we’d love to hear from you
